π§Ύ Insurance & Billing FAQ
β¨ Insurance can be confusing—we’re here to make it simple. Below are the most common questions we get about insurance, billing, and payments at Whipple Creek Wellness.
Frequently asked questions
π Do you take my insurance?
β We’re in-network with many plans. We’ll check benefits as a courtesy, but it’s up to you to confirm coverage, deductibles, co-pays, and coinsurance.
π Do you accept Medicare or Medicare Advantage?
π« Sorry, we don’t. Federal rules also mean we can’t accept self-pay from Medicare patients (even if you don’t use your benefits).
π Can I pay cash instead of using insurance?
π΅ Absolutely! We offer cash-pay rates for patients not using insurance (except those with Medicare).
π What if my insurance mails the payment to me?
π¬ Just pass it along to us! Insurance benefits for services here are assigned directly to Whipple Creek Wellness.
π What costs am I responsible for?
π³ You’re responsible for what insurance doesn’t cover—like co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, or balances from changes/lapses in coverage.
π What happens if I miss or cancel late?
β° Life happens, but please give us 24 business hours’ notice. Missed or late-canceled visits = a $150 fee (not billable to insurance).
π Is my information safe?
π Yes! We keep your information private and only share what’s needed to process claims, follow the law, or protect safety.
